A Home for a New Chapter
A chef's rented flat had two fridges in the hallway and nowhere to put her kitchen equipment. No renovation was possible — so we worked with what could be added and taken away.

A new chapter
Following a significant life change, our client wanted her rented home to reflect the new chapter she was building with her daughter.
What we found
As a professional chef, she owned an extensive collection of kitchen equipment, but the compact kitchen offered very limited storage. Two fridges and freestanding wardrobes had taken over the long hallway, while the entrance, living room and dining area lacked cohesion and a sense of identity.
Our challenge was to create more storage, improve the flow between the spaces and bring personality into the home — all without undertaking a full renovation in a rented property.
What we did
We transformed the existing wardrobes into a floor-to-ceiling storage solution with slatted sliding doors, creating the appearance of bespoke joinery. In the dining area, new full-height cabinetry concealed the fridges and introduced additional drawers and a dedicated coffee station, relieving pressure on the kitchen.
New furniture, sculptural pendant lights and carefully selected decorative pieces completed the transformation. Through our Design Plus, Project Management and Personal Shopping services, every detail was coordinated from concept to installation.
The result
The result is a calm, cohesive and functional home that reflects its resident and supports everyday life.
I will never again accept less than I deserve.
